Mobility Tracks
All students should spend the first semester of the program at either Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, or Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia (Italy) and the remaining semesters at one or more partner universities from the six Consortium Universities: Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain), Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France), Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia (Italy), Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium), Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) or University of Kansas (USA). All students must study in at least two partner universities (at least one semester in each one), and must spend their second year in only one partner university. This is the mobility component of the QEM program The second year is devoted to the chosen specialization.
The mobility plan for each student is decided during the Admission Process. In the application phase, the student should express their preferences about mobility. The Joint Graduate Committee chooses the proposed mobility track taking into account factors such as the student's preference, the wishes of the partners, and the equal distribution of students within the Consortium for the second year.
If a student is accepted, the committee proposes a specific mobility plan. The student is notified about his acceptance with that mobility plan. The possible confirmation of intention to participate in the EMJM QEM program means accepting the proposed mobility track.
Mobility changes after confirmation of acceptance by the student are in general not possible for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship holders. However, the Joint Graduate Committee can exceptionally allow such change under some particular situations.
The deadline for submitting requests for all mobility changes for the second semester is September 15th of the first year and for the second year is June 10th of the first year. Only the students without the Erasmus Mundus scholarships are concerned by this deadline. These requests must be sent to qemapp@univ-paris1.fr
