1. First Year
The first year of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master QEM program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Economics and Quantitative Methods, setting a solid foundation for their academic journey. With mandatory scientific courses and foreign language classes totaling 60 ECTS credits, students delve into key subjects such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Optimization, Probability and Statistics, and Econometrics, balancing theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Additionally, students can tailor their learning experience by selecting elective courses aligned with their interests and career aspirations. The program offers a diverse learning environment, with the first semester hosted in Venice and the second semester at one of the five Consortium Universities. 2. Second Year
The second year of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree QEM program focuses on specialized courses to complete a Master's dissertation. With 60 ECTS credits required, students engage in core and elective courses tailored to their chosen specialization. The curriculum includes 36 ECTS credits of scientific courses, encompassing core courses offered annually and elective courses varying by year and university. Additionally, students undertake foreign language courses to enhance their linguistic skills, earning 4 ECTS credits per semester. A significant component of the second year is the Master's dissertation, comprising 20 credits, where students work under the joint supervision of two advisors from specialization universities.
